In the southeasternmost corner of Vermont, bordering both New Hampshire and Massachusetts, Vernon is a town located in Windham County, Vermont along the Connecticut River. With a rich history dating back to 1672, Vernon’s rolling hills and open farmland are filled with scenic views throughout all of Vermont’s 4 seasons. Once the home to Vermont’s only nuclear plant, the town is now home to several developing industries bringing in highly technical jobs and advancing the local economy.
